2009 Honda Civic LX Sedan Automatic

Good product, fast delivery, good fitment, easy installation. Just mind the small bracket that connects the bottom of the header to the engine. I broke mine and had to fabricate a new one. You also need a donut gasket and a 90 degree O2 defouler (extension, spacer). I put one on mine and no CEL. I have a weapon r intake manifold, Jegs MAF Sensor, DC Sports CAI, and now the Megan Racing Header. I can tell a substantial improvement in pull over 4k RPMs. Nothing life changing, I mean, it is an R18 afterall, but I can def tell it is more responsive and unlocked some of the power that is restricted from the factory. The sound is just a little, and I mean barely louder than stock, which is what I wanted. I have stock exhaust on my car. Driving at low RPM it sounds just like stock. I recommend this company, this header, and would purchase from SE Motors again.

One more thing..

Purchased for a 2010 Honda Civic LX sedan to replace my clogged catalytic converter. Header is designed to even attach to the stock catalytic converter mounting brackets. Installed and had a noticeably loud exhaust leak. A design change is needed though where the header attaches to the exhaust pipe. There is a shoulder on the OEM catalytic converter where the donut gasket sits to insure proper connection with the exhaust pipe. Your header doesn't have a shoulder therefore the pipes don't connect correctly. I found an old thread on a Civic website that addresses this problem by double gasketing by using two donut gaskets. This solved my leak problem. A cost effective fix for your product would be to add a spacer type sleeve with the gasket. If further explanation is needed, email me and I'll send pictures to explain.

Deffly works good for the civic, but the gasket is really weak. Lasted about 2 weeks & will need a new one

Direct fit

Fit my 08 honda civic perfectly. Just have to go to your local auto parts store and buy the flange to connect to the downpipe but other than that it is a solid product.

All bolt holes lined up perfectly, sounds good, loud and raspy as a traditional civic, could use an extra gasket for the midpipe otherwise, good product
